I don't usually have problems with insomnia, and when I do, it's usually because I'm too warm or too cold, both of which are fairly easily corrected. When I was in college, I found I couldn't always fall asleep because of stress. So, I picked a CD and listened to it every night before bed whether or not I felt I needed it. The only drawback is that even now, twenty years later, I still have to be careful not to listen to it during the day unless I'm ready for a nap. (smile)
