Unfortunately, it is in this life,
Although it can drive one berserk,
That on occasion we must deal,
With a landlord who can be a jerk.
It is at this point that one might dream,
Of tossing the sap in the lake.
But though this would prove that the bloke's all wet,
A lot of trouble it would make.
Communication can work at times like these.
But if the man refuses to hear,
Or even to try to meet you halfway,
Don't kick the bloke in the rear.
Take yourself to the management company.
That can work at times like this.
They can override what the landlord says,
Though it may make him scream and hiss.
If Management is just as dense,
And you can't get anywhere,
Remember that there are regulations,
That protect tenants everywhere.
And so, I say, Consult your lease,
And check into your rights.
That way, you can find ways to fix this problem,
And tell the blokes to fly kites.
