Oops

My pick-up today was scheduled for 7:22. I woke up at 6:15, about
fifteen minutes before my alarm was scheduled to go off. I went to the
bathroom, and figured I'd just put my head on my pillow for a few
seconds before picking up my keyboard and Skyping [livejournal.com profile] kitytech.
I woke up again at about five to seven, had a much shorter Skype talk
with Caroline than I would have liked, and hoofed it out the door to go
to work.

But I'll tell you, this must be a government building, complete with Big
Brother and all that. Three times in a row here, I've walked up to the
elevator just as the door was opening, always to an empty elevator.
Twilight Zone?

I want to buy something just for me, but I don't have the money to do
it. My new computer was supposed to be just that, but I can't get the
thing to talk past Narrator, sobleh.

Anyway, that's where things stand for Brucie at the moment. Have a great
day everyone.

7.5 More Hours

In seven and a half hours, I will be listening to CJOB Radio, as the pre-game show begins
for the first Winnipeg Blue
Bombers
pre-season football game of the year. I have been waiting
for this, and it's finally here, or will be soon. I'll be ordering KFC delivery, and I can't wait!

Another Computer Update

Well, turns out Serotek hadn't gotten my e-mail to support, so I called
them today. Thankfully, they have a toll-free number I was able to call
from work, and it works from Canada. I talked to their tech support guy,
and his first question was whether or not this computer is running a
64-bit operating system. I had checked this once before, and I was sure
it said 32-bit operating system, but now I'm not so sure.I have to give
Serotek top marks for courtesy and willingness to help.
