And so we come to another Monday evening in Winnipeg, The weather is hot, with very little relief in sight. There's a seventy percent chance of showers tomorrow, but I'm not holding out too much hope for their amounting to much.
I got my laptop speaking to my wireless network. This is a major accomplishment, for I know just a little less than nothing about networks, DNS addresses, IP addresses, and all those other things which seem to come so naturally to so many network gurus. Ah well, such is life.
I'm still going crazy for lack of new episodes of Corner Gas. CTV is being so tight-lipped about season 4! Last year at this time I knew approximately when season 3 was to start, I knew that it would have 19 episodes, and I knew that one of these would be a Christmas episode. this year, nothing. Come on Brent and company, I'm you most loyal fan. I just purchased another copy of seasons 1 and 2 to give to a dear friend in the States. I'm loyal, guys, loyal I say, and what do I get in return? No information, no hints, no scoops on the upcoming season! I'll have to turn to the grocer at the gas station for comfort, and start singing "Help Me Wanda!". You'd have to've watched Corner Gas to have any clue what that last sentence was all about.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday I work late. Handi-Transit did a marvelous job of screwing up my return pick-up for tomorrow. I was initially set to be picked up at home to be taken home. Only Handi-Transit, folks.
Well, there you have it. You're caught up in my life, for the most part.
