Wake Me up
Apr. 28th, 2008 09:49 pmThis is a play on one of the songs mentioned in The Restaurant at the End of the Universe by Douglas Adams:
AltaVista's great, okay,
Yahoo's pretty neat,
Google's search results will always knock you off your feet.
They'll find anything you like,
Some fast and some real slow,
But if you have to wake me up to do the search,
Then I don't want to know.
Singing
Wake me up, wake me up,
What a way to search,
And if you have to wake me up to get me there,
Then I, for one, won't lurch.
MSN is paved with gold,
Or so I've heard it said,
By nuts who then go on to say,
See AOL before you're dead.
I'll gladly take the high-speed,
Or even take the low,
but if you have to wake me up to hook me in,
Then I, for one, won't go.
Singing
Wake me up, wake me up,
You must be off your head,
And if you try to wake me up to get me there,
I'll stay right here in bed.
