Scary Legislation

Despite any thoughts Fox News may have on the subject, for the last many
years, Canada has been at the forefront in dealing with the situation in
Afghanistan. A story that has made big news lately is this
story about a proposed piece of legislation in Afghanistan. There
has been a great deal of concern expressed in Canada about this
legislation, and I think the concern is more than justified. But I don't
hear anything about this on the American news outlets. Are we the only
ones bothered by this? Should we be bothered by this, or should we be
ignoring it? Should this story be getting more international attention?
