Weekly Words of "Wisdom" from Uncle Brucie
Feb. 1st, 2012 09:35 amWell, as I write, we've almost made it through the first half of the work week. Whew! Time for some good Mushroom FM evenign programming to brighten your day.
And as you enjoy the day's great programming, I hope you'll include Bruce's Gospel Hour among the things you listen to. That's right, we've moved the Gospel Hour, all two hours of it, to Wednesday nights at 10:00 PM Eastern.
This week on Bruce's Gospel Hour, we have no set theme, we're just going to play some great Christian music. Of course, that also means we have lots of room for your requests, if there's a Christian song you'd like to hear. I'll give you the contact info just a bit later in this note.
And then on Saturday, you can relax as, in the same old time you're used to, we present our weekly romp through the realm of the unpredictable which we lovingly call Toews on the Waves. This week on TOTW, we'll be looking at songs covered by the Beatles. We won't be devoting the whole show to that, so again, we have lots of room for your oldies or novelty requests.
And even if you just want to sit back and listen to either or both shows without making a requests, that's just fine too. Your presence means so much to me, and if I can entertain or enrich your time just a little with the music I play, my goal is fulfilled and I'm only too happy to do so.
