Finally, Corner Gas has returned, and these guys haven't lost their touch. It was so fun on Monday when, thanks to that passing fad, the Internet, funblindsinger and I were able to watch the first episode of season 4 together. We'd been planning on this for over a month, and the whole thing went off without a hitch.

I feel sorry for the average American, who has never seen this series to end all series. A decent Canadian TV show is a rarity indeed, let alone something as more-than-decent as Corner Gas. You, my dear American friends, are living in a great country. It's the most powerful country on the planet, filled with some of the most wonderful people on the planet, it just seems so unfair that you have, at the moment, to be denied this series of televisic fantasticitude.

But take heart. Last I heard, they were trying to sell the show in America, so there may be hope yet. You, too, may someday be able to enjoy Corner Gas, even as we lucky Canadians now can.
