This question is kind of a reversal of yesterday's question. Have you
ever done something which, at the time, you weren't sure was such a good
idea, but it turned out to definitely have been the smart thing to do?

Yes when I started contrubuting audio tutorials in January of 2006 I at first thought it wasn't a good idea but have since learned so much more and helped a lot of people.

Not moving out of my house when I technically could have. Given my current financial situation, it would have been such a hardship to try and pay for all of the necessary amenities for an apartment.
