A Site to Check Out

dogriverI don't often do site recommendations in my LJ. This isn't because of
any kind of a policy about that or anything, I've just never gotten
around to doing that sort of thing.
Recently, I got wind of a really cool site, www.freerice.com. The purpose of this
site is to give you a vocabulary quiz. For every word you get right, the
advertisers on the site will donate ten grains of rice to the United
Nations program to end world hunger. Doesn't sound like a lot, but you
could quite easily find yourself playing this thing for hours at a time,
and if a few hundred thousand people around the world are doing it, it
adds up. I can't find any indicators that this isn't perfectly legit.
