So it occurs to me that
tazcat thinks drinking hot chocolate in the summertime is strange, but eating an ice cream sandwich in the middle of January makes perfect sense. Well, all right then, she's certifiable, tell me something I didn't already know. At any rate, this startling revelation inspired today's poll, which I subtitle "Ice Cream for Answers".

Date: 2008-02-07 12:58 am (UTC)In hot weather and in cold.
It is something that is adored,
By people young and old.
Those of us from Wisconsin,
Adore this cold treat so,
From the Shores of Lake Superior,
To the town of Mukwanago.
We eat it when it's cold outside.
We eat it when it's warm.
We enjoy ice cream in the heat of Summer,
And sometimes during a snowstorm.
Oh Ice Cream; oh ice cream!
How grand a treat you are!
And now I think that I will go,
And get an Eskimo Bar.

I wonder what I owe'm,
For writing it to me?
Poetry is difficult
this early in the morn,
I think my poems are heart-felt,
Most think they're full of corn.
And now it's off to work again,
Psychology I'll read,
But soon I can go home again,
I will be glad, indeed.

He asks that for my poem,
What amount for it should be sent?
To which it is that I reply,
My friend, there is no fee.
For every one of my poems,
Are absolutely free.
