Holiday Trip-Planning

Well, I'm planning my trip to Milwaukee in December. I'm looking at
leaving on the 27th and coming back on January 3rd. This one's going to
be expensive, probably around $800. I'm thinking of making the booking
on Friday.

You know what? With the price of gas as it is, and airfares probably going up, I'd book as fast as you can.

I read on CNN.com last week that if fuel prices don't lower (or at least stabilize), by January EVERY U.S. airline will be filing for bankruptcy. What a mess this economy is in. Air travel (scratch that - ALL travel) is going to be a thing of luxury for the next while.

That wouldn't surprise me. I don't know if I could afford to pay much more than I paid for my last ticket.
