DropBox is an immensely popular system among computer users allowing file sharing and collaboration. Recently, however, some Windows users have had difficulty sharing a folder with someone else, due to some edit box changes on the Website. What follows is a step-by-step guide explaining precisely how to go about this using JAWS for Windows. Follow these steps precisely. They work with Auto-Forms mode enabled or disabled. In my personal configuration, Internet Explorer is the default Web browser.

1. From within your DropBox folder, create the subfolder you wish to share. Highlight it.

2. Press your application key and arrow down to DropBox in the context menu. Right arrow to open this sub-menu, and choose share folder.

3. Press enter on Share Folder. You will be placed in Internet explorer.

4. Press control+home to go to the top of the page, and from there press the letter e to take you to the first edit box. This appears to be the spot where you enter the e-mail address of the person with whom you wish to share the folder, but it is not. Press down arrow once, and you will be where you need to be.

5. IF auto-forms mode is disabled, press enter to go into forms mode and enter the address or addresses to add. Otherwise just enter the address or addresses.

6. Do not exit forms mode. Tab over to the button for sharing the folder and activate. This will initiate the invitation process and all should be well from here.
