A Toews on the Waves Extra This Saturday

dogriverTwo important things are happening this Saturday, August 25th. For a start, it's my mom's 39th birthday. For the incredulous among you who wonder how I can be 42 with a mom who's turning 39, let's just say that to suck at math has its advantages. There, now I'm covered if I forget to call and wish my mom a happy birthday.
The second big event on Saturday is a one-off edition of Toews on the Waves. Nancy Trzcinski is off galavanting on Saturday, and she's left me to hold down Mushroom FM's on-air presence for that time.
So what's going to happen? I guess you'll have to tune in and find out, won't you? Because, quite frankly, I don't know myself what's going to happen. I can promise you a wonderful mix of oldies and novelty tunes, of course. What I want from you, if you'd be so kind, is a request or two. I'd just love to play a song for you, whether it be an old standard, something a little on the obscure side, or a comedy routine or song you'd just love to hear again.
