Shoot, all this time I've been wasting on poetry, profundity and bearing my heart and all that, when it's the two-word posts that get people's creative juices flowing. Why did this never work in college? "Write an essay," they might have said, "on how the Canadian government works." to which I could have responded with a perfectly accurate "It doesn't", and that would be that. And they say college prepares you for the real world.
I have to confess to some measure of surprise myself. Well thought-out it was, to be sure, but I wouldn't ahve considered it to be one of my best pieces. Still, what works works.
